Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor saws and related cutting equipment to cut materials according to specified measurements and fabrication requirements.
  • Assist welders by gathering materials, organizing workpieces, and preparing components prior to welding.
  • Support post-weld processes by helping make adjustments, handling materials, and ensuring parts meet required specifications.

  • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately for precise cutting and material preparation.
  • Capacity to think on their feet and respond quickly to changing work demands.
  • Basic problem-solving skills to handle routine operational and material issues.
  • Comfort working in a loud, fast-paced production environment with multiple activities occurring simultaneously.

Why Work Here?

The team-oriented atmosphere encourages collaboration with a small group of coworkers, offering opportunities to learn from others and contribute directly to daily operations. The role provides consistent, active work for individuals who enjoy staying physically engaged and working with tools and machinery in a busy setting.

Work Environment

The role is based in a non-climate-controlled fabrication facility where temperatures can be hot during summer and chilly in winter, with heating available in colder months.
