Senior Program Manager

A leading aerospace manufacturing organization is looking to add an experienced Program Manager to its growing team. This person will be tasked with leading complex, design-to-spec development programs from concept through full production. The role will focus on driving structured program execution, improving processes, and strengthening customer relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned leader to influence the maturity of program management and mentor cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment.

The Role

• Lead the execution of new product development programs, ensuring delivery against cost, schedule, and technical objectives
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and testing teams using a structured phase-gate process
• Monitor program performance (schedule, budget, scope, risks) and proactively resolve issues impacting delivery
• Serve as the primary customer interface, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring alignment with contract scope

The Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or Business; MBA or formal program management training is preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience leading complex programs, ideally within aerospace or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Strong experience with structured program management methodologies (Phase Gate, Lean, Six Sigma, EVMS).
• Technical familiarity with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, welding, fabrication, and working with advanced metals.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage customer relationships, and deliver programs on time and within budget.
