Job Overview

We are seeking a Machine Operator to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves machine setups, quality adjustments, preventative maintenance, and production documentation. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and experienced operating production machinery.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust molding machinery to meet production requirements
• Perform machine startups, quality adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
• Complete head cleaning, knife setups, and routine machine adjustments
• Monitor product quality and complete inspection logs
• Prepare work orders and maintain production documentation
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic equipment repairs
• Follow all safety and quality procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of machine operating experience preferred
• Manufacturing experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with machine setups and adjustments
• Familiarity with inspection logs and quality documentation
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and basic repairs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saddle Brook, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
