Job Title: Quality InspectorJob Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will utilize your skills in interpreting engineering drawings and utilizing industry-standard inspection equipment to conduct thorough inspections.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections using standard equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, bore gages, comparators, and surface layouts.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with GD&T standards.
  • Document inspection results, including first article documentation, using systems like Net Inspect and Discus.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards including AS9100, AS9102 (FAI), PPAP, and PFMEA.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports of inspection results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues.
Essential Skills
  • 3-5 years of Quality Inspector experience.
  • Ability to utilize standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, bore gages, comparators, and surface layouts.
  • Basic understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Net Inspect and Discus for first article documentation.
  • Good attitude and a self-starter.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in industries such as automotive and medical device.
  • AS9102 (FAI) and Discus experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, AS9102 (FAI), PPAP, PFMEA, and related aerospace industry standards.
  • Experience with Jobboss MRP system preferred.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, in a CNC Machine shop environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
