Regional EHS Manager

A leading, stable food/beverage manufacturing organization is looking for a Regional EHS Manager to join their team in the New York area. This person will have a presence across multiple 24/7 manufacturing locations that are within driving distance. No relocation assistance will be provided.

There is plenty of long-term stability and upward mobility available for the right long-term candidate. 50% travel requirement (costs covered by employer). Profit-sharing, bonus, and full benefit coverage included.

The Role:

• Conduct regular audits, trainings, identify potential hazards, and help improve/maintain existing programs.
• Lead training programs, actively co-manage worker’s compensation claims, and support all accident/near-miss investigations.
• Champion the safety culture onsite – this is a union environment.
• Build strong relationships with operational staff and leadership, reporting directly to the EHS Director.

The Candidate:

• 3+ years of experience in EHS/HSE/Health and Safety within manufacturing.
• A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred. In lieu, additional certifications are required.
• Must be located in the New York City/Long Island/Westchester County area.
• Personal vehicle required; travel costs will be reimbursed.
