We are seeking a skilled welder capable of performing Mig welding tasks, with the ability to multitask efficiently across various areas of the fabrication department. The role involves working from engineering drawings and Bills of Materials to fabricate and weld components, requiring adjustment of welding equipment to accommodate different steel thicknesses. The position includes operating a variety of hand/power tools, measuring devices, overhead cranes, and forklifts (if certified). There are opportunities to work in two departments: Panel Welding, which involves basic straight line welding, and Tank Welding, which requires vertical, horizontal, and overhead welding techniques.
Responsibilities- Perform Mig welding and multitask between welding and other fabrication areas.
- Work from engineering drawings and Bills of Materials to fabricate and weld components.
- Adjust welding equipment to accommodate varying steel thicknesses.
- Operate welder, grinder, drill, and various hand/power tools and measuring devices.
- Operate overhead crane and forklift if certified.
- Engage in Panel Welding with basic straight line welds.
- Engage in Tank Welding requiring vertical, horizontal, and overhead welding.
- Proficiency in Mig welding.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Experience in fabrication.
- D1-1 certification required for Tank Welding.
- D1-3 certification is a bonus for heavier gauge galvanized steel processes.

Work EnvironmentWork in a brand new facility, opened in 2025, equipped with all necessary tools provided by the company. Choose between two shifts in our Panel Welders – Marlin Building: 1st Shift from 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM with overtime, or 3rd Shift from 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM with overtime until 4:30 AM.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
