Job Title: Assembler

We are looking for reliable Assemblers to support the production of high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. We have openings on the Electrical Assembly team and with the Mechanical Assembly team. In this role, you’ll work with tools, follow blueprints, and collaborate with a team focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous growth.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into finished products using blueprints, diagrams, and work orders
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, bills of materials, and other technical documents
• Use hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches to build and secure parts to specification
• Perform quality checks to ensure products are level, square, and meet required standards
• Inspect materials and components for defects (dents, scratches, alignment issues) before and during assembly
• Assemble electrical components such as switchboards, panelboards, and copper bussing per design specifications
• Conduct visual inspections and troubleshoot issues to identify and correct nonconforming parts

Schedule:

• There are two available shifts; Monday-Friday 7am-5pm OR Monday-Friday 5:30pm-3:30am.
• The minimum work week is 50 hours. There is overtime available. Most employees work 55-60 hours weekly.
• Mandatory overtime may be required on an as-needed basis, typically taking place on Saturdays.
• All hours over 40 hours worked in a week will be paid at 1.5x.

Skill Recommendations

• Previous experience using basic hand and power tools
• The ability to read and follow work instructions
• Experience from industries such as manufacturing, general construction trades, and automotive repair beneficial but not mandatory

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
