Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced Board Eligible/Board Certified Rheumatologist to serve as Section Chief of Rheumatology and join our growing practice in the North Austin Region. This leadership opportunity offers the ability to help shape and expand a well-established Rheumatology program while providing high-quality, patient-centered care within one of the nation's largest not-for-profit healthcare systems.

Position Highlights

• Leadership role as Section Chief of Rheumatology, helping shape the vision and growth of Rheumatology services across the North Austin Region
• Help us build the premier Rheumatology program in Central Texas
• Join a busy, established, and growing Rheumatology practice with strong referral networks
• Opportunity to develop and expand a comprehensive Rheumatology program
• Build a differentiated procedural practice, including:
  • Musculoskeletal ultrasound
  • Ultrasound-guided joint and soft tissue injections
  • Osteoporosis diagnosis and management programs
• Dedicated infusion center access with opportunities for future program growth and development
• Practice model includes:
  • Prior authorization support
  • Dedicated and experienced Rheumatology LVNs/CMAs
  • Ability to develop and grow a subspecialty clinical interest

·        Open to both experienced leaders and emerging physician leaders interested in developing into a future Section Chief role

• Practice coverage across two clinic locations
• Virtual visit capabilities to enhance patient access and continuity of care
• Epic EMR platform
• Collaborative, physician-led culture with strong administrative and operational support
• Access to a large integrated network of primary care and specialty physicians

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Rheumatology
• Fellowship training in Rheumatology
• Demonstrated clinical excellence and commitment to patient care
• Prior leadership experience preferred
• Comfortable performing Rheumatologic procedures
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas
