Job Title: Entry Level Parts Cleaner- Paying $21/hr

Job Description

We are seeking Parts Cleaners / Production Operators to join a first-shift team. In this role, you will prepare manufactured steel and metal parts for additional processing or shipment by performing sandblasting, grinding, material handling, and other finishing operations.

This entry-level, contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for candidates who are mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and interested in developing a long-term career in metal manufacturing or fabrication.

Schedule + Pay:

• 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM (Monday-Friday)- $21/hr

Responsibilities

• Sandblast and grind parts to prepare them for machine operating processes.
• Manually handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Utilize tools such as hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, grinders, and more.
• Accurately use a tape measure.
• Perform fraction conversions.

Essential Skills

• General production experience.
• Proficiency in sandblasting and grinding.
• Ability to operate lasers and other machinery.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Machine operating experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication.
• Experience with heavy lifting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
