Job Description

We are seeking two experienced carpenters for commercial interior work on a notable project in Round Rock, TX. The role involves installing architectural millwork, casework, countertops, restroom accessories, partitions, in-wall brackets, grab bars, paper towel dispensers, and related finish carpentry components.

Responsibilities

  • Install architectural millwork, casework, and countertops.
  • Install restroom accessories including partitions, grab bars, and paper towel dispensers.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and shop drawings with precision.
  • Perform precision layout, leveling, and finish carpentry.
  • Comply with OSHA 10 safety standards.
  • Utilize hand and power tools proficiently for panel installation, framing, and hardware installation.
  • Execute woodwork and drywall tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 3+ years of commercial finish carpentry experience.
  • Proficiency in construction, carpentry, millwork, finish work orders, trim carpentry, interior finishes, and cabinet works.
  • Experience in commercial millwork installation, casework and cabinetry installation, and countertop installation.
  • Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
  • OSHA 10 Certification (current).
  • Proficient in hand and power tool use.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with installation of millwork, casework, countertops, grab bars, paper towel holders/dispensers, toilet partitions, and in-wall or backing-mounted brackets.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass site-specific onboarding requirements.

Work Environment

The work takes place in an active commercial construction project focusing on indoor finish-out work. It requires frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.

This is a Contract position based out of Round Rock, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
