Job Description

This role involves building and assembling PODs that hold inventory on a robotics floor within a fast-paced, loud, and dynamic warehouse environment. You will work as part of a team to complete a set number of PODs within specific timeframes while maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy work area and following all company policies and procedures. The position requires regular heavy lifting and the use of hand and power tools to construct metal workstations and inventory shelving units.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble PODs that hold inventory for the robotics floor in a timely and accurate manner.
• Construct and assemble metal workstations and inventory shelving units according to specifications.
• Use hand tools and power tools, including hammers, rivet guns, and pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily and periodic production targets for the number of PODs completed.
• Perform repetitive tasks that involve lifting, pulling, and pushing materials and equipment throughout the shift.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment at all times.
• Follow and support all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Monitor work quality and report any defects, issues, or safety concerns to the appropriate person.
• Contribute to a cooperative and efficient team environment in a loud and fast-paced setting.

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Whitestown, IN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
