Job Title: Assembly Line Technician – Seat ManufacturingJob Description

This role focuses on assembling seat components on a production line within a modern, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility. You will use basic hand and power tools to build and assemble parts, follow established work instructions, and support consistent production output. The position requires standing for the duration of the shift and working regular overtime to meet production demands.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble seat components and parts on the production line according to work instructions and quality standards.
  • Use basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assembly tasks.
  • Follow standardized manufacturing and assembly procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Inspect assembled parts for defects or issues and report any concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.
  • Stand for the duration of the shift while performing repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Work mandatory overtime on a weekly basis as required, typically totaling 50–60 hours per week.
  • Adapt to shift changes, starting on first shift and transitioning to second shift as scheduled.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use equipment in accordance with facility policies.
  • Collaborate with team members and line leads to meet daily and weekly production goals.
Essential Skills
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how parts fit and function together.
  • Experience or comfort working in manufacturing assembly or similar production environments.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely and correctly.
  • Capability to stand for an entire shift and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Willingness and ability to work 50–60 hours per week, including mandatory weekly overtime.
  • Reliability and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly line work is beneficial.
  • Mechanical inclination and interest in working with tools and machinery.
  • Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Work Environment

The role is based inside a brand new, state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility that stays cool all year round. Work is performed on an assembly line using basic hand and power tools. The position requires standing for the duration of each shift and performing repetitive tasks. The schedule begins on first shift, typically 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a planned transition to second shift (4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.). Mandatory weekly overtime is required, and total weekly hours generally range from 50 to 60. The environment is organized, safety-focused, and designed for efficient production.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
