🕒 Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM

Build the Structures Behind Major Projects

We are seeking motivated MIG Welders to join our growing fabrication team in Daytona Beach. This position focuses on welding structural steel components used in some of the nation's most demanding projects, including high-rise buildings, launch pads, and heavy support structures.

This is an excellent opportunity for welders looking to grow their skills in a professional fabrication environment with a clear path for advancement. Selected candidates will initially train on 1st Shift before transitioning to the regular 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform spray MIG welding using a 90/10 shielding gas setup
• Weld structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions
• Maintain weld quality while meeting production standards
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy and compliance with quality requirements
• Follow all shop safety procedures and company standards
• Work closely with fabrication and production teams to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience preferred
• Experience with spray transfer welding is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Experience working in a manufacturing, fabrication, or structural steel environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Reliable attendance and transportation

Weld Test Requirements

Candidates must successfully complete:

• 2G T-Joint Fillet Weld Test
• Blueprint Reading Test

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Daytona Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
