Introduction to role:

Are you ready to enhance executive effectiveness and help high-impact HR initiatives move forward? In this role, you will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Vice President of HR, Oncology R&D & North America HR Country Lead, and the Vice President of HR, Oncology Business Unit (OBU). You will also collaborate with colleagues across a global network to translate priorities into clear outcomes and help our science-led teams move faster for patients.

As a trusted partner, you will turn priorities into action by protecting focus time, developing leadership materials, and ensuring decisions are followed through. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and uses precision, discretion, and digital fluency to improve productivity across time zones and stakeholder groups.

Accountabilities:

Executive and Administrative Support: Manage global calendars, meetings, travel, expenses, and administrative processes so leaders can focus on priorities.

Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key contact, communicate professionally, anticipate needs, and resolve scheduling conflicts.

Confidentiality and Judgment: Handle sensitive information discreetly, using sound judgment and working independently.

Leadership and Meeting Support: Coordinate meeting materials, logistics, and follow-up. Capture decisions, track actions, and deliver executive communications on time.

Reporting, Analysis, and Decision Support: Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports using relevant HR and business data, analyze trends and patterns, and translate findings into clear insights for senior leaders. Validate data quality, identify information gaps, use tools such as Excel pivots and dashboards, and proactively ask questions to support informed decision-making. Examples may include analyzing attendance, workforce, meeting, budget, or activity data.

Event Coordination and Operational Support: Coordinate projects, trackers, updates, events, offsites, and team activities.

Digital Enablement, AI, and Continuous Improvement: Simplify processes and improve efficiency through digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled productivity solutions. Identify practical opportunities to use tools such as Microsoft Copilot or other approved generative AI applications to support calendar management, meeting preparation, action tracking, communications, reporting, and project coordination, while applying appropriate judgment regarding confidentiality, data privacy, and accuracy.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience supporting senior leaders within a complex, global organization.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Experience using enterprise systems and business applications such as Workday, Concur, or comparable HR, travel, expense, and reporting platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare, organize, and analyze data using Excel or comparable tools, including sorting, filtering, pivot tables, basic trend analysis, and presentation of insights.
  • Ability to interpret reports, identify data gaps or inconsistencies, ask relevant follow-up questions, and determine what additional information is needed to support executive decisions.
  • Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or other approved generative AI solutions, to support administrative, communication, reporting, meeting, and project coordination activities.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and aptitude for applying AI to practical administrative tasks, including calendar optimization, meeting preparation, summarization, action tracking, drafting communications, and workflow improvement.
  • Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities to simplify work and enhance productivity.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Experience supporting VP-level or senior executives.
  • Experience developing presentations, dashboards, and leadership communications.
