Regional Safety Consultant

A leading Chemical Manufacturing company is looking for a Regional Safety Consultant to support their manufacturing sites across the U.S.

This highly visible role partners with operations, technical service, and commercial teams to reduce risk, strengthen safety culture, and drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will be a relationship-driven safety professional who excels at influencing without authority, building trust, coaching teams, and partnering with operations to improve safety performance and culture.

The role is remote based with 50% travel. Ideal locations include PA, NC, SC, and Ohio.

The Role:

• Conduct safety assessments, audits, observations, and risk evaluations
• Coach employees and leaders on safe work practices and hazard recognition
• Investigate incidents and near misses; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Analyze safety metrics and identify improvement opportunities
• Deliver safety training and employee engagement initiatives
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Serve as a trusted safety resource across multiple locations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EHS/safety experience in manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or related environments
• Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, and training
• Strong communication, coaching, and influencing skills
• Ability to work independently and support multiple sites
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%

Preferred

• Experience with chemicals, coatings, inks, packaging, paint, or flammable liquids
• Multi-site or customer-facing safety experience
• CSP, ASP, OHST, or similar certification
