HSSE Deputy Director

A global manufacturer is currently seeking an energetic, passionate Deputy HSSE Director to oversee significant national responsibility for program and people management.

This role involves approximately 25% travel, with the Deputy Director working directly with site managers and employees to drive consistency and alignment across locations nationwide.

The Role:

• This role is heavily tied to contractor safety management, training design/implementation, and ISO 45001 standardization.
• Lead the implementation, standardization, and continuous improvement of ISO 45001-compliant safety management systems across multiple sites.
• Develop and standardize contractor safety management processes across multiple sites, leveraging ISNetworld to manage contractor prequalification, compliance, and performance.
• Drive the development and standardization of training and advanced learning programs across multiple sites.
• Reports directly into national HSSE Director.

The Candidate:

• Minimum of 20 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing setting.
• B.S. in a related field required, M.S./BCSP certification (GSP, ASP, CSP, CHST) preferred.
• Extensive ISNetworld experience.
• Strong proficiency with ISO standards.
• Must be based in Houston, TX or northeast Ohio.
