Senior Safety Consultant

A growing UK-based health and safety consultancy is looking for a Senior Safety Consultant to deliver audit and onging retained H&S support for their clients in the USA. They work primarily with manufacturing, logistics, and retail clients. There is significant demand for site visits across the USA and periodic visits to Canada.

The Role

• Conduct audits and inspections by utilizing informed, cutting-edge techniques to reduce harm, manage risk, and develop strong cultures of safety.
• Complete risk assessments, implement safety management systems.
• Coach, advise, and train professionals across a variety of client sites.
• Self-manage your own schedule depending on client needs. Travel expectation is 60-80% across the US.
• Sales is not a part of this role, but delivering high-level service and relationship-building with existing clients is required.

The Candidate

• 5+ years of dedicated EHS/safety experience required. Manufacturing/retail/consulting strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or BCSP Certification (GSP/ASP/CSP) preferred. Certifications and formalized training required.
• Experience with and ability to travel extensively (3-4 days/week, including overnight stays). Travel expenses will be covered.
• Strong relationship-building skills to be a credible subject matter expert.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA without visa sponsorship or work authorization required.
