Job Title: Quality InspectorJob Description

The Quality Inspector will perform and support validation of setup, in-process, and incoming inspection of components and products using optical and mechanical measurement or test equipment. The role involves inspecting and testing finished goods or components to detect defects, performing visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests. Additionally, the Quality Inspector will support operators in reviewing and containing product quality by initiating reject (non-conforming) reports and leading containment activities. Participation in problem solving to reduce quality and cost issues is also required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and support validation of setup, in-process, and incoming inspection of components and products.
  • Utilize optical and mechanical measurement or test equipment for inspections.
  • Inspect and test finished goods or components to detect defects.
  • Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests.
  • Support operators in reviewing and containing product quality by initiating reject reports and leading containment activities.
  • Participate in problem-solving activities to reduce quality and cost issues.
Essential Skills
  • Expertise in quality control, quality assurance, and quality inspection.
  • Proficiency in visual inspection and blueprint reading.
  • Experience with first article inspection and moisture testing.
  • Computer skills are essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills are advantageous.
  • Strong math skills are required if not proficient in blueprint reading.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pinellas Park, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
